After Pop This Jam (Moondance Version) [Feat. DJ Gerahv] became Ian Guerin's biggest opening, gaining over 20K hits on VEVO upon release, &
Pop This Jam (Hip Hop Version) [Music Prod. By Phat Records] WON a Beat100 U.K. Silver Song Award for "Well Written Original Song," it was only natural that the song spanned a third version.
Jam (Forever) is an electro-pop record produced by "the Remix King" Alex Tork.
According to the Jam singer Tork reached out to him via a friend.
"A friend of mine called me & said Alex was interested in reworking the song & I was thrilled. We got in touch, I sent him the acapella, he sent me a demo, I made a few pointers & everything happened pretty fast. When he turned the final version in I was speechless, he reenvisioned the track without changing its feel-good essence. This record was never meant to be up for formal release, but it turned out so great we had to put it out & the response has been amazing."
lyrics
Ten past three in the death of the night & I can’t go to sleep
Still looking for a thrill,
& thinking ‘bout the things that make my mind spin & spin
I can hear the rain, crashing in my window
While waiting for the sun to rise
I see your picture
I pop an inbox
& boom time starts to fly
We’re having fun, babe
We’re having fun
Hours turn to days, babe
Days turn to months
Whatsapps at dawn
All day long & to say good night
What? What? What? If we fell in love
I think it’s ‘bout time
Shorty, pop this jam, pop this jam, pop this jam
Shorty, pop this jam, pop this jam, pop this jam
Shorty, hold my hand, hold my hand, hold my hand
This our jam, it’s our jam, it’s our jam
(X3)
Jam, jam
Love & jam
Jam, jam
Pop this jam
Jam, jam, jam
Make it pop now
No one ever finds true love if they don’t give it a chance
No risk, no win, if we settle for less, we will never feel alive
First time I saw you I turned my head like “who the F was that?”
Like Wow!
Look at that!
What’s new?
Why?
How?
Wanna know you now
New love of my life
We, we, we, well
Let me introduce myself
I am a sinner
I be in the music business
I work hard to make a living
Don’t like taking, I like giving
Showing my people that I mean it
When I say that I do love em’
When I say I got them covered
Makin’ sure that they don’t worry
Don’t like going to the movies
Rather have a cup of coffee
In your presence it’s a blessing
Cause I like you & I love you
& I think
We should get together
(X2)
Shorty, pop this jam, pop this jam, pop this jam
Shorty, pop this jam, pop this jam, pop this jam
Shorty, hold my hand, hold my hand, hold my hand
This our jam, it’s our jam, it’s our jam
(X3)
Jam, jam
Love & jam
Jam, jam
Pop this jam
Jam, jam, jam
Make it pop now
Sign on the line & seal it with a kiss
I want to love you now, tomorrow & the mornings after
All my life
Night after night
The one after that & all the midnights
Cause I love it girl
When you wear my shirt
On top of your bikini, so revealing girl
Cause the love we share
It can’t be compared
All you people if you feel me help me say
